This seminar will be mainly devoted to legal issues in European public procurement.
The first day of the seminar will concentrate on the current procurement reform. After an overview of the reform proposals on European public procurement, the seminar will concentrate on the state of play of the reform concerning public procurement and the utilities directives. It will examine some specific legal issues such as the optional and mandatory exclusions of economic operators in the context of the reform process.
The second day will focus on the recent case law in the field of European public procurement. Special attention will be given to the jurisprudence of the General Court and the Court of Justice of the EU (CJEU).
Furthermore, the seminar will cover the relevant case law concerning remedies.
