With the State Aid Modernisation Initiative, the European Commission introduced a number of changes that have a significant impact on State aid control at the national, regional and local level. For the new Funding Programming Period 2014-2020, compliance with these new State aid rules is crucial. In cooperation with the Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the European Conference on State Aid Control & ESI Funds will discuss the State Aid rules, essential to practitioners from EU Member States on the national, regional and local levels for successful implementation of ESI Funds, among others Concept of State Aid and Interdependence with ESI Funds, the New GBER Rules, Infrastructure Funding in compliance with State Aid Rules and Financing the R&D&I Sector and Risk Finance. The conference offers a perfect platform for exchange of knowledge and experiences for professionals and practitioners dealing with European State aid control and the management of ESI Funds. It will bring together high-level representatives from European Institutions, Member States, private legal practitioners, industry and academy. The conference will be held in English.
