Objective
The conference will focus on the most recent case law developments in family matters, with particular reference to the Brussels IIb Regulation.
Furthermore, participants will discuss maintenance claims in cross-border situations, including those relating to non-EU states. Key issues on the agenda also include parental child abduction and domestic violence, same-sex unions, surrogacy, and recognition of gender identity in the EU.
