Political Tech Summit 2026 - Where Politics Meets Technology
From 23-24 January 2026, the Political Tech Summit returns to Berlin for its second edition, bringing together policymakers, campaign strategists, technologists, and academics to explore how digital tools and AI are transforming politics. Building on last year’s success with over 600 participants from 40+ countries, this year’s Summit will focus on Power, Protection, Participation, examining how technology shapes influence, safeguards democracy, and strengthens citizen engagement.
The speakers include Alexandra Geese (MEP, Greens/EFA), Thomas Jarzombek (Parliamentary State Secretary for Digital Transformation & Government Modernisation), Jane McGonigal (Institute for the Future), Iain Bundred (BBC), Michael Bossetta (Lund University), and Lisa Witter (Better Politics Foundation).
The programme features keynotes, panels, workshops, and masterclasses, including:
- The TikTokification of Political Campaigning - How vertical video and social media trends are reshaping politics.
- GenAI & Citizen Participation - Using AI to enhance democratic engagement across Europe.
- Leveling Up Democracy: Gaming, Gamers, and the New Political Arena
