The Association of Corporate Counsel Europe and the International Law Office Recognise Top In-house Counsel

Kaarli Harry Eichhorn, Senior Counsel – European Competition Law, General Electric Company, based in Brussels, was awarded ‘Individual of the Year’ in the ‘Competition’ category.

and contributes to their continuing legal education."
explained Iohann Le Frapper, President of ACC Europe and General Counsel Networks Group of Alcatel-Lucent.

To identify the winners, the ILO team conducted indepth analysis of in-house lawyers and legal departments worldwide, receiving more than 3,500 individual nominations. Awards were presented to both individuals and legal teams working in the following areas: competition, corporate tax, employment, general commercial, intellectual property, litigation, M&A, and regulatory (financial and non-financial).

Mr. Le Frapper added: "We are looking forward to meeting again the participants at the 19th annual conference of ACC Europe which will take place from the 13th to the 15th of May in Amsterdam. In these troubled financial times, in-house counsel are expected to provide more legal services and faster but with stable or less resources. With over 20 sessions, the conference offers practical solutions to their pan-European and international matters."
