Crowell & Moring Elects New Partner For Brussels Office

Crowell & Moring LLP is pleased to announce it has elected five attorneys to the firm’s partnership effective January 1, 2014. The firm has also promoted fourteen associates to the position of counsel. The new partners and counsel have been promoted from within the ranks of the firm's Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, Brussels, and New York offices.
The newly elected partners include Emmanuel Plasschaert, a partner in the Corporate and Labor & Employment groups and resident in the firm’s Brussels office.
Emmanuel Plasschaert is a member of the Corporate and Labor & Employment groups and resident in the firm’s Brussels office. Plasschaert primarily focuses on individual and collective labor law, including human resources related privacy and international employment issues. He is recognized for his experience with complex restructurings and collective labor law disputes. In addition to his employment practice, he also has significant experience in commercial and complex litigation matters and criminal enforcement issues, including anti-bribery compliance. He studied at the Catholic University of Namur, jur. cand., cum laude, and earned his law degree at the law faculty of the Catholic University of Leuven, jur. lic., cum laude.
