Description:
The study visit on Comparative European Procedural Lawwill cover the principles and procedures of European Law, focusing on Judicial Cooperation in Civil and Criminal matters as being a part of the wider policy field of the ‘Area of Freedom, Security and Justice’. Current legislation, however, also includes items related to civil procedure seeking to facilitate the administration of civil cases, having a cross border element and targeting matters such as service of documents, taking of evidence, providing a common European procedure for payment orders, small claims and abolition of the exequatur.
